Since our programs follow the order of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment, our students can start and continue Spanish lessons anywhere in the world.

According to CEFR, we offer 6 levels:

A Basic Speaker

A1 Breakthrough or beginner

A2 Waystage or elementary

B Independent Speaker

B1 Threshold or pre-intermediate

B2 Vantage or intermediate

C Proficient Speaker

C1 Effective Operational Proficiency or upper intermediate

C2 Mastery or advanced

However, we know most of our students need to be able to communicate as soon and as well as possible during their travels. That is the reason why we combine these objectives from the very first lesson with useful phrases, vocabulary, audio activities, etc. with the subjects students need to cover in order to be able to fit in any other school in the future, even in universities.

We also offer you the possibility to continue learning Spanish in Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Ushuaia and Chile, following the same program you have started in Bariloche.  Our lessons are based on international accreditation requirements so that students may easily transfer to courses  in other cities both within Argentina and abroad.

Spanish Teacher training courses: Spanish in Bariloche also offers professional development programs for teachers of Spanish as a foreign language - or ELE ("Español como lengua extranjera"), as it is known in Argentina. College and University Credits - Study Abroad: Spanish in Bariloche is approved as Language Partner Intitute for several universities, if you are interested in earning credits towards your degree, please, email me for more information.

CELU: The 'Certificado de Español Lengua y Uso (CELU)', issued by the Universidad Nacional de Rio Negro, on behalf of the Argentinean Ministery of Education, are official qualifications accrediting levels of competence and command of the Spanish language. Our school has designed specific courses in order to prepare students to hold this examination at the local university. email me for further information.

Spanish for travellers.

Course start day: Any day of the week.

Spanish lessons specifically tailor-made to meet travellers needs, focusing on vocabulary for travelling, listening and speaking skills. With basic grammar.

Winter options:

Private lessons for skiers. Because skiers have a very tiring day and they need to organize their schedules according to ski resort timetables, we have designed this program. You get two hours a day of Spanish instruction, before or after ski times.

Spanish for ski and snowboard instructors. We have developed this specific course, that allows instructors from all over the world to be able to teach at Catedral ski resort. Spanish is required for all instructors. Duration of the course: Basic: 10 hours. Full: 20 hours. Schedules set according to ski resort times.

Our immersion programs include different activities, such as:

Regional culture itineraries (Museum, City Tour, Breweries, Chocolate factories)
Traditional Regional Cooking
Ritmos latinos (Salsa, Merengue, Cha cha chá)
Tango lessons and Milonga
Season activities

These activities are included in our rates though some of them might have an additional cost for transportation, ingredients, drinks or entrances fees.

Start Dates & Holidays: Classes start on any Monday. If you arrive on any other day and there is no group class available, you may begin with individual classes and join a suitable group later.

We don’t work on holidays. When two holidays in the same week, one day of lessons will be made up. 

Holidays in Argentina: Jan 1 / Mar 24 / Apr 2 / Easter / May 1 / May 25 / Jun 15 / Jul 9 / Aug 22 / Oct 12 / Nov 22 / Dec 8 / Dec 25.

On site orientation: At their arrival, students receive orientation about Bariloche and the sorrounding area. Every Monday, after lessons students receive advice about excursions. day-trips and gateway trips. This information is provided by an locally run travel agency.
